This October 12th-20th, celebrity facialist Su-Man Hsu will be bringing her signature facial treatment exclusively to AWAY Spa at W Singapore, and we’re giving you a chance to live your dreams!
Currently based out of London, Hsu has over a decade’s worth of experience in skincare. She has an in-depth understanding of natural and traditional skincare originating from her native country Taiwan. Combining oriental and Japanese skincare and massage techniques, the former dancer has created her own unique form of facial treatment.
“Because I was a dancer and come from a culture that understands [that] the whole body is connected, I never treat a client’s face and see just superficial skin. It’s a reflection of their health and how they are feeling about themselves,” she says.
“The face is not just a form. It’s who you are, and [in order] to release a person’s inner light, I decided to concentrate on working the inner energy to the surface rather than pamper the surface itself. I want my clients to have an experience that is long lasting and not just the conventional quick fix you get with so many facials these days.”

Her facial treatment begins with a skin analysis, followed by a deep cleansing with steaming, gentle extraction and exfoliation. Next, a soothing botanical placenta mask is applied to nourish the skin. And finally, the treatment ends with toning and moisturising for rejuvenation.
Each facial step is applied through carefully designed massage techniques developed exclusively by Su-Man. Described as a non-evasive alternative to Botox, her hybrid facial treatment focuses on the philosophy of ageing beautifully and reawakening the skin.
She has a following of A-list stars, including Oscar winning actors Anne Hathaway, Frieda Pinto, Juliette Binoche and Joely Richardson.
Su-Man’s facial treatments are limited to five treatments a day, and reservations are required on a first come first serve basis.
